Chinese Language (Business Chinese) Program

①Long-Term Language Students

Admission Requirements:

1. High school graduate

2. Over 16 years old and healthy

Classes start:

Spring semester: the first Monday of March every year

Fall semester: the first Monday of September every year

Application Date:

Spring semester: before March 31st

Fall semester: before September 31st

Students having Chinese basis can be placed in appropriate classes anytime

②Summer Short-Term Language Students

Admission Requirements:

1. High school graduate

2. Over 16 years old and healthy

Classes start: In the middle of July

Application Date: anytime before classes start

③Other Short-Term Language Students

Classes can be independently set and designed for students over 10. Any questions, please contact office of International Institute of Chinese Language and Culture.

Application and Registration

Application

1. Please request the courses detailed information from International Institute of Chinese Language and Culture (IICLC)

2. Fill out the application form, submit related application documents, pay application fee (application documents and application fee will not be returned)

Registration

1. After the application is approved, university will send Admission Notice, JW 202 and other documents within 30 days since the application documents and application fee received

2. International students need to apply for the study visa (“X” or “F”) with JW202 Form, Admission Notice, Passport and other documents in Chinese Embassies and Consulates of their country

3. Students need to register to International Institute of Chinese Language and Culture on time with passport, JW202 form, admission notice

Please new students who arrive in Dalian and need to be picked up contact IICLC one week in advance.

Certificate Program of Business Management in China

The aim of this non-degree program is to provide those who are interested in Chinese studies with general knowledge about Chinese culture and Chinese business. The courses offered in the program are listed as follows:

Admission Requirements

All candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:

   Current student attending a post-secondary institution

   IELTS (5.0), or equivalent language qualification for non-English speakers

Application Materials

   Application Form (download from http://sib.dufe.edu.cn/english/application.asp)

   Application processing fee 680 RMB

   Certified copy of student status issued by currently attending university

   Curriculum Vitae

   Certified copy of official IELTS results, or equivalent qualifications

All application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, must be submitted in English or translated into English by an officially accredited translation agency.

Application Deadline

For fall semester, applicants should submit application form and all the documents before May 31st.

For spring semester, applicants should submit application form and all the documents before November 30.
